Dr. Yeong is a Professor of Medical Physics at Taylor's University, Malaysia, and an internationally recognised leader in medical physics. She is the current President of the Southeast Asia Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics (SEAFOMP), Chair of the IOMP Medical Physics World Board, an IOMP Accreditation Board Member, and a committee member of the AFOMP Professional Relations Committee. She is also a co-founder of the ASEAN College of Medical Physics. Jeannie Wong studied Biomedical Engineering, followed by a Master of Medical Physics at the Universiti Malaya. She received her PhD from the University of Wollongong, Australia, and started her career at the Department of Biomedical Imaging, Universiti Malaya, as a senior lecturer in 2011. She coordinates the UM Master of Medical Physics programme (the only postgraduate programme outside the UK and Ireland accredited by IPEM, UK), has published more than 85 papers, and in 2023 became the first and only diagnostic radiology-certified IMPCB Diplomate in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. Hafiz obtained his PhD from the Joint Physics Department, Institute of Cancer Research London and the Royal Marsden Hospital, UK. During his PhD, he was involved in developing prototype CMOS image sensors for real-time radiotherapy treatment verification, as part of a multi-institutional and multi-disciplinary research consortium funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC UK). In 2012, he returned to Malaysia to join Universiti Sains Malaysia as a lecturer, and was appointed Associate Professor in 2023. He is currently Head of the Biomedical Imaging Department at the university's Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi Cancer Centre, since 1 February 2024, and also contributes to the Oncology & Radiotherapy Unit of the university's hospital. His primary clinical and research focus is improving targeted radiotherapy treatment of cancer using optimised image guidance modalities and real-time treatment delivery tracking. Dr. Muhammad Nur Salihin Yusoff is a lecturer with the Medical Radiation Programme, School of Health Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia.
