Dr. — Medical Physicist / Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya (Department of Clinical Oncology)

A Clinical Medical Physicist and Senior Lecturer at the Clinical Oncology Department, University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC), brings over 16 years of specialized expertise to her role. She earned her PhD in Clinical Oncology Physics from Universiti Malaya in 2021, responsible for delivering high-quality radiotherapy treatment planning, accurate dose measurements, and rigorous quality assurance (QA) across various treatment modalities. Her core clinical and research expertise spans advanced radiation technologies, with a currently strong focus on keloid brachytherapy and spatially fractionated radiation therapy (SFRT). Her proficiencies also include stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), in vivo dosimetry, hybrid treatment planning, and the radiobiology of hypo-fractionated regimens. As an academic leader in a teaching hospital, she actively drives clinical quality improvements, mentors future clinical oncologist and medical physicist professionals through academic teaching, and leads impactful medical physics research.
